The Plain Dealer endorses
Eugene Lucci for the
Republican nomination for
judge of the 11th Ohio
District Court of Appeals:

Judge Gene Lucci was endorsed by The Plain Dealer on Sunday. The newspaper recognized Judge Lucci's stronger qualifications for the Court of Appeals while pointing out that Colleen O'Toole has failed to do the job well and does not deserve another term on the bench.
"...But Lucci, 55, is the more credible candidate. He has almost a decade of service as a trial court judge in Lake County. He has worked in private practice and served as a special detective in the Sheriff's Office. He is highly recommended by the Lake County Bar Association and certainly can do the job...
...O'Toole, however, has not done well enough on the court to earn another term."

Elect Lake County Common Pleas Judge Eugene A. Lucci to the Court of Appeals, 11th District, serving Lake, Trumbull, Portage, Ashtabula, & Geauga counties
I was amazed at this because the Plain Dealer usually endorses liberals....not conservatives like Judge Lucci.
Colleen O'Toole must be an embarrassment for the P.D. not to endorse one of their own.
