Urge Demand of Gov. Strickland and
Atty.General Richard Cordray :
Defend Ohio's constitutional rights!
Fourteen states have filed suit against the federal government to protect their citizens from the overreach of the federal government, but Ohio has not.
March 29, 2010
When they formed the Constitution, the states delegated 17 powers - and no more - to the central government. Those powers are listed in Article I, Section 8. Since Congress has only the powers granted to it by the states, if a power is not listed in Article I, Section 8, Congress and the president have no legitimate authority to act.
Every other "power," or right to act, is reserved to the states by the 10th Amendment.
You will look in vain among the enumerated powers of Article I, Section 8 for the right of the federal government to mandate that American citizens purchase health insurance. It's not there.
This means Governor Strickland has every constitutional right and obligation to take a stand against this usurpation of power and protect your freedom of choice in health care.
Fourteen states have already filed suit against the federal government to protect their citizens from the overreach of the federal government, but Ohio has not.
"In addition to the state lawsuits, legislatures in at least 36 states have proposed measures to challenge the constitutionality of the new bill, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Twenty-nine states also are calling for ballot questions to amend their constitutions to keep residents from having to buy insurance or face fines."- Charisma News Online, read full article.
Email, call, or write Governor Strickland and Atty. General Richard Cordray today and demand of him to protect Ohio's constitutional rights by joining the states that have filed 10th Amendment lawsuits against the federal government's unconstitutional takeover of healthcare.

The United States Congress has now reached too far by demanding that citizens be required to purchase health insurance or face stiff penalties. I find this action intrusive on my personal rights as a citizen and a constitutional violation of our state’s rights.
I demand you join the fourteen other states which are protecting states rights by filing a lawsuit against the federal government’s healthcare mandate. As Governor, please let me know you are standing with me and our state.
It is very important that you forward this alert to your friends and family members in Ohio.

We have a socialist Governor (Ted Strickland), a socialist Lt. Governor (Lee Fisher), and a socialist Atty. General (Richard Cordray). It's an uphill battle in Ohio.....these people are all liars and perverters of our Constitution!
“Medicine is the keystone of the arch of socialism” and “The goal of socialism is communism.”
No wonder Ohio is so messed up and has lost so much small business, but that is how it is in most welfare states. No wonder Ohio hasn't joined in on the lawsuits.
All the more reason why we should be a monkey on the backs of these people!
Strickland claims to be a minister...ha,ha...he helped bring in gambling, went back on his word on the sales tax rollback, and he lies! He swore an oath to GOD upon taking office which he has not honored! He lies! I feel sorry for all the people he counseled or ministered to. I hope they didn't have to pay for his B.S.
And now for Cordray. Go to his site by clicking the link above and read his explanation on why he refuses to join other states in lawsuits against the Feds. If you know anything about the Constitution, you will see it is filled with lies and ridiculous comparisons. If nothing else, the ONE THING that nullifies all of his lame excuses, is, that it is unlawfull for anyone to force you into a contractual agreement, against your will, with anyone else. NO ONE (including the government), can force anyone to do that.
