Don't Judge The Contents
By The Package
I normally don't watch shows like American Idol because I think they are shallow and insignificant especially during these times when we are in danger of losing our country and freedom....but.... this story caught my eye and my heart because it was so touching and should be a great lesson for anyone viewing the video.
Susan Boyle, whose physical appearance is not symbolic of "Hollywood", appeared on "Britains Got Talent", the British equivalent to "American Idol", to sing her song and try to win the competition. Susan is 47 years old, on the frumpy side, and hails from the Village of West Lothian in Blackburn, Scotland.
When she introduced herself, answered some questions from the 3 judges and stated she was going to sing a song, the looks on the faces of the judges and the whole audience were like....what the hell; this is pathetic; this old bag is going to make a big fool of herself; what a bafoon.
She definately did not, by any stretch of the imagination, fit the phoney, shallow, Hollywood stereotype of being glamorous, sexy, shapely, hip. She looked laughable, and everyone was doing just that, laughing, rolling their eyes, and snickering, including the judges.
Well, when she started singing.....sorry.....you'll just have to watch the video!
