Chester Township residents lost their “voice” at town hall meetings when Congressman David Joyce was the Geauga County Prosecutor. Under the direction of Joyce’s office, Chester Township Trustees Mike Joyce and Judy Caputo informed the residents that there would be no discussion during town hall meetings and if anyone spoke up, the police would be called.
When I emailed David Joyce and asked him how he could support this abuse of our constitutional right to free speech, he said that he did not know what I was talking about and denied accountability for the actions of his office.
Election Day, November 5, 2013, Chester Township residents once again “found their voice” by resoundingly defeating Judy Caputo and Mike Joyce booting them out of office.
On May 6, 2014, we have another opportunity to defend and protect our constitution, by giving Congressman David Joyce that same boot.

I know what you mean Judy. When David Joyce was the Geauga Prosecutor he and RINO Ed Ryder tried to take away the First Amendment right of free speach from Ed Corsi by filing a phony complaint against him with the Ohio Elections Commission.
They did this because Corsi was effective at exposing the TRUTH about local politicians and they wanted to shut him up. Liars don't like being exposed.
Now David Joyce is saying, in his political ads and mailers, that he is a conservative Republican who will uphold our Constitution. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!!!
If Joyce were truly interested in upholding our Constitution, he would have told Ed Ryder the phony allegations against Corsi have no foundation or merit and refuse to prosecute..... BUT HE DIDN'T !! All prosecutors have the discretion to do that.
Joyce also caused alot of taxpayer money to be wasted on that case, but what does he care, it wasn't his money..... IT WAS YOURS!
Several non profit Constitutional legal groups across the country jumped in to defended Corsi because this was such a landmark, unprecedented case of bloggers right to free speach.
